Things to see and do

Our park is nestled peacefully in an idyllic country setting but only a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist town of Blackpool. The perfect location for visiting the Fylde coast and surrounding areas.

There’s always plenty of things to do whatever time of year you choose to come.

BLACKPOOL - Distance 3.8 miles
Famed for its impressive Blackpool tower and of course the magical Blackpool illuminations which are on during September and October. There’s always lots of events and entertainments going on all year round to suit everyone.

Why not take in a show or play whilst you’re here, see Grand Theatre or Viva Blackpool for show lists.

For a relaxing day out take a stroll and feed the ducks in Stanley park with its beautiful gardens, lake and art deco grade 11 listed café, or visit Blackpool zoo.

LYTHAM & ST ANNE’S - Distance 3 - 5 miles
Lytham is a beautiful charming old Victorian town, both towns have fashionable shops and coffee bars where you can sit and watch the world go by. Take a stroll down the green on Lytham sea front and see the Lytham windmill and take in the views across the Ribble Estuary and nature reserve, or visit Lytham hall the finest example of Georgian architecture in Lancashire.

Both Lytham & St Anne’s have great golf courses, St Anne’s old links and Royal Lytham & St Anne’s .

Don’t miss the famous Lytham proms an outdoor three day music extravaganza held on Lytham Green every year in August featuring famous artists. This year the headline artist is TOM JONES, and for the first time this year the event will close with a spectacular firework display.

For those who like to get out and about exploring a little further there’s the beautiful Forest of Bowland, an area of outstanding natural beauty and only 40 minutes drive away. Within an hours drive you can be in the picturesque lake district or exploring the fabulous Ingleborough Caves or Ingleton Waterfalls.

Whether you just want to relax in the Tranquil park surroundings or get out and about there’s something for everyone and you can be assured you wont be short of things to see and do during your visit.
